Oral history interview with Wallace L. Dinn, 1981 May 14.

Interview with Wallace L. Dinn concerning his experiences as founder of W. L. Dinn & Company, Insurance, Inc. in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dinn discusses his family background, his work as a ranch hand in Live Oak, Texas, his employment as a bookkeeper in Alice and Corpus Christi, and his entry into life insurance sales in 1920. He also talks about land development in Corpus Christi in 1926, the growth of the insurance company personnel and coverage, administrative personnel, civic activities, and his views on the qualities necessary to develop a successful business. At the end of the interview is an Appendix that includes various documents either by Dinn or about his life and family.
